Mission possible partnership (“MPP,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who visit and use our website (missionpossiblepartnership.org) or services that link to this privacy policy (collectively, our “services”). What data do we collect about you?

Data you provide to us

  • Communications. Your name, email address, message contents, and other data you choose to provide when contacting us or signing up for our mailing list. We also collect your organisation, job title, and areas of interest for the mailing list and may track whether you open your emails from us.
  • Job applications. Contact information, CV, current employment data, and other details you submitted directly or via a third-party platform such as LinkedIn or Lever.

Data we collect when you use our Services

  • Device information. Internet protocol (IP) addresses, web browser type, operating system  and unique device identifiers.
  • Usage information. Log files, performance logs, diagnostic reports, pages viewed, searches conducted, websites visited before using our services, and the dates, times, and durations of your visits.
  • Location information. General physical location inferred from your ip address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Data collected via cookies, pixel tags, and web beacons. See “your rights” for cookie choices.

Data we receive from third parties

  • Social Media Platforms. Content you post on our pages on platforms such as X or LinkedIn may be visible to us.
  • Partners. We may receive additional personal data about you from data or marketing partners and combine it with we already hold.
  • Publicly Accessible Sources. We may collect data publicly accessible sources such as LinkedIn or your organisation’s website.

Why do we use your data?

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve our Services
  • Communicate with you and respond to your enquiries, comments, and questions
  • Send you updates and data relating to our Services (Where you have signed up or where permitted by law)

Who else sees your data?

We share data only where necessary to operate our Services and as required by law.  We do not sell your personal data.

  • Partners and Affiliates. We may share personal data with our partners, such as the Rocky Mountain Institute, Systemiq ltd., The We Mean Business Coalition, and The World Economic Forum for joint programme delivery, research and reporting.
  • Service Providers. Contractors and vendors retained to provide our Services, including email marketing, website hosting, CRM platforms, recruitment software, and analytics. A list of processors is available upon request.
  • Analytics Partners. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. You can opt out via the google analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • As Required by Law. Where required to comply with law enforcement requests, legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of you, us and others.
  • Business Transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • With your Consent. We may also share personal data with your permission.

International data transfers

We may transfer your personal data to the United States, where the level of data protection may differ from that in Europe, and from there to other countries in connection with operating our Services.

How do we keep your data secure?

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your data for as long as we need it, unless we are required by law to keep it for a longer period.

As general guidance, we retain:

  • Contact and enquiry data for up to 3 years from last contact
  • Mailing list and marketing data for as long as you remain subscribed, or up to 3 years after your last engagement
  • Job application data for up to 12 months if your application is unsuccessful
  • Website analytics data up to 26 months (per analytics provider settings)
  • Financial and legal records as required by applicable law (typically 6–7 years)

These periods may vary depending on your location and applicable law. When determining specific retention period, we consider the type of service provided, the nature and length of our relationship with you, and mandatory retention periods required by law.

Your rights and choices

You have real control over your personal data. Below are the actions you can take and how to take them:

  • See what Data We hold about You. You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Fix Incorrect Information. If we hold something inaccurate about you, you can ask us to correct it.
  • Delete Your Data. You can ask us to erase your personal data. Use the Data Deletion Request Form or email us.
  • Restrict how we use your data. In certain circumstances, you can ask us to limit our use of your data.
  • Object to processing. In certain circumstances, you can object to how we process your data.

  • Lodge a complaint. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Unsubscribe from Marketing Emails

When you sign up to our mailing list, we will use your name and email address to send periodic communications. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in our emails. Even if you unsubscribe from promotional messages, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.
