Are you passionate about developing innovative solutions to the climate crisis and supercharging industrial decarbonization?  Are you interested in being a foundational member of a new organization?  If yes, then join our growing team.

The Mission Possible Partnership (MPP) is a movement of climate leaders and companies driving industrial decarbonization across the entire value chain of the world’s highest-emitting sectors: aluminum, cement, chemicals, steel, aviation, shipping, and trucking. Together, these sectors are responsible for >1/3 of global energy emissions. MPP is charting the inventive steps and radical collaboration to enable a critical mass of commercial-scale First Projects by 2030 to put these sectors on track to net zero.

The Industrial Transition Accelerator (ITA)’s mission is to catalyse decarbonisation across heavy-emitting sectors, including energy, industry, and transportation, and accelerate the delivery of Paris-aligned targets. The ITA brings global industry leaders together with policymakers, finance, and technical experts to unlock investment and rapidly scale a critical mass of projects by 2030, to put these sectors on a 1.5°C-aligned pathway to net zero.

Backed by a joint contribution of $30 million from the COP28 Presidency and Bloomberg Philanthropies, the ITA is designed to empower decarbonisation efforts within its target heavy-emitting sectors. MPP will host the Secretariat of the ITA and lead its delivery alongside key industrial, governmental, and non-governmental partners.

We are looking for individuals to join our team and lead various workstreams for the ITA. Roles may differ based on candidate experience levels mixed with needs of the organization. First workstream focus areas will be on policy support, country engagement and decarbonization solutions and financing. Please see the descriptions below.
