The Mission Possible Partnership has set 2030 real-economy milestones to guide the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate heavy industry and mobility within 1.5 degrees-aligned sectoral carbon budgets. Our science-based milestones for action in this decade are endorsed by more than 200 companies: they are bold, but feasible given available technology and resources.
This high-level panel will discuss the nuts-and-bolts of operational planning for action in this decade to make net zero viable by 2050 in seven sectors that jointly contribute 30% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
